Official dates of the 2018 Auto Expo have been announced, thus starting the wait for India’s biggest automotive exhibition. The Auto Expo 2018 will be organised from February 9 – 14, 2018. The motor show will be held at the Indian Expo Mart in Greater Noida, which is the same venue where the last iteration was organised.
The Auto Expo, often referred to as the Delhi Auto Expo, is a biennial automotive exhibition organised in the national capital. It was earlier based out of Pragati Maidan, near India Gate. However, with increasing interest from visitors as well as more number of participating manufacturers, the organisers decided to shift the show to the Indian Expo Mart, which is a much larger venue and thus makes it easier to handle a large number of visitors.
2018 Auto Expo – Official dates
The 14th edition of the Auto Expo will be held from Friday, February 9, 2017 to Wednesday, February 14, 2017. The first day will primarily be a media day, with the show opening for the public in the second half. However, tickets for the first day will relatively be expensive.
Interestingly, the 2018 Auto Expo will be 1 day longer than its previous iterations. This is due to increased interest from spectators. Last year, the 2016 Auto Expo saw a record-breaking footfall of 6 lakh visitors. As a result, the organizers have decided to spread the event for an additional day to minimize long waiting hours.

2018 Auto Expo Tickets price & availability
Ticket bookings for the 2018 Auto Expo have commenced at BookMyShow. Interested enthusiasts can thus now reserve their tickets. We advise doing so at the earliest as there has been a high demand for these passes and thus some slots might be sold out soon.
The 2018 Auto Expo ticket prices depend on which day and time you plan to visit the venue. On weekdays, the business hours ticket (10 am to 1 pm) will cost Rs 750, while a public hours ticket (1 pm to 6 pm) has been priced at Rs 350. Meanwhile, weekend tickets are priced at Rs 475.
It is worth noting that interested visitors can also purchase tickets for the 2018 Auto Expo at the IEML venue in Greater Noida and at some select metro stations in Delhi. Moreover, if an individual books more than 3 tickets through BookMyShow, the tickets will be delivered to the home, free of cost.
