The 2017 DSK Benelli 302R has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The said price will be applicable across India. The 302R is Benelli’s first fully-faired motorcycle in India and thus the company is hoping to widen its market presence with this new launch.
The DSK Benelli 302R is essentially a faired sibling of the TNT 300i. It uses the same powertrain, though the output figures have been tweaked to give it a more sportsbike like performance. The fairing is all new and adds visual bulk to the bike’s appearance. However, the fairing itself is quite bland and doesn’t really look dynamic or modern.
Additionally, the bike comes with a twin-headlamp setup, clear lens turn indicators and LED taillights. All these elements add a pinch of sharpness to the 302R’s looks. The clip-on handlebars and rear-set foot pegs result in an aggressive riding position. As a result, the Benelli 302R has been given all sportsbike elements, which differentiate it from the TNT 300i.
DSK Benelli 302R Price in India
The Benelli 302R sportsbike is available in India in a single variant. Earlier reports had mentioned that the company will be offering two variants of the bike, one with ABS and the other without it. However, DSK Benelli has decided to bring the 302R in India with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard.
The single variant of the DSK Benelli 302R is priced at Rs. 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).

The Benelli 302R will draw power from the same 300 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is offered with the TNT 300. However, output figures have been tweaked. The 302R thus develops 38 bhp and 26 Nm of torque, while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox

Benelli 302R suspension and brakes
Suspension setup on the DSK Benelli 302R includes 41 mm upside down (USD) forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by 260 mm dual disc brakes at the front and a single 220 mm disc brake at the rear. Additionally, the Benelli 302R comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
