Ford India has announced a price cut of up to 4.5% on its range of cars in India. This price reduction comes in the wake of the implementation of GST tax reform in the country from July 1, 2017.
The biggest price reduction has been made on the Ford Endeavour SUV, which has now become cheaper by up to Rs. 3 lakh in Mumbai. This price reduction varies from state to state, and also changes across different variants. Prices of the Ford Endeavour in New Delhi have also come down after GST, though the reduction is just around Rs. 1.5 lakh.

This is because of the fact that the Maharashtra state government had previously implemented higher state taxes, as opposed to the Delhi state government. As a result, when the GST taxes came into play, tax reduction was a lot more severe in the state of Maharashtra, than it was in New Delhi.
Similarly, prices of the Ford Figo hatchback after GST have come down by Rs. 2,000 in New Delhi and by Rs. 28,000 in Mumbai. The EcoSport compact SUV, which is currently Ford’s best-seller in the country, has become cheaper by Rs. 8,000 in New Delhi and Rs. 68,000 in Mumbai.

This does appear to be the ideal time to get your hands on the Ford vehicles, which are anyways priced competitively against their respective rivals.
