Tata Motors recently announced the incubation of a new sub-brand within the firm. Named TAMO (Tata Advanced MObility), the brand will be focussing on developing new mobility and connectivity solutions, as well as niche products in the industry. Through this new TAMO brand, Tata will be launching low investment, low volume products in India as well as International markets. If the company sees potential in a specific product launched under the TAMO brand, it will be shifted to the Tata Motors portfolio in order to scale its production and reach. The first car to be launched under this new venture is the TAMO Futuro, the first Tata sportscar.
Tata Motors hasn’t revealed any specific details about the TAMO Futuro sportscar. But the Indian automaker has confirmed that it will be unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. We all know that the Geneva Motor Show 2017 is scheduled from 9 March to 19 March 2017. However, Tata Motors will be unveiling the sports car at a pre-show event on March 7, 2017. As a result, we have to wait for around a month to get our hands on the official details about the upcoming Tata sports car. Tata TAMO Futuro Launch in India
Tata Motors is expected to unveil the TAMO Futuro sports car as a concept at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The company will be taking in and accepting suggestions from market experts and will then be improving the product further. As far as its India unveiling is concerned, we can expect it to be showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018, which is scheduled for the month of February. Post this showcasing, Tata Motors will likely be launching the TAMO Sportscar for sale in India by the end of 2018 or the beginning of 2019.
