Coronavirus Impact: Tata Motors announces discounts upto 45,000, Altroz not included

Tata Motors has announced discounts of upto Rs. 45,000 on its range of cars in India. Special discounts have been announced for healthcare workers as well. Benefits of upto Rs.45,000 are available for models like the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and Harrier.

Additionally, there are a few offers for regular customers as well. This includes longer finance tenures (upto 8 years), on-road financing, cash and exchange bonuses. Tata is hoping that these discount offers will act as a motivator to potential customers for bringing them in the market during the economic slowdown.

Speaking about the announced schemes, a Tata spokespeople commented “At Tata Motors, the buying process is simple, convenient and beneficial for our customers as they can avail a variety of options to choose from. In addition to attractive, limited period offers, we are facilitating up to 100% on road funding on our entire range of cars and SUVs. Customers can also take advantage from the long tenure EMI schemes (up to 8 years) thus lowering the amount of their monthly EMI payment. The option of customising EMI payments every year in line with their cash flows offers additional convenience and enhances benefits. To thank and support the brave COVID frontline warriors (doctors, healthcare professionals and police), we have special offers as well.”

Interestingly, there is no discount available on the Altroz. The Tata Altroz hatchback was launched in India earlier this year and instantly attracted quite a lot of attention, thanks to its stylish design and aggressive pricing. The Altroz starts at Rs. 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Due to the high demand, the Altroz has never been sold with a discount till date.

Customers can take advantage of these discounts on Tata cars by booking through the company’s recently launched ‘Click to Drive’ online sales platform. The discount is also available at a few Tata Motors dealerships that have been opened owing to some relaxation in lockdown restrictions.
