Tata Harrier - Dual-tone colours launched at Rs. 16.76 lakh

Tata Motors has launched new dual-tone colour options for the Harrier SUV in India. The company had already released a few teasers of the dual-tone Harrier a few days back. With the new colour scheme, the Harrier has been priced at Rs. 16.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it priced in close proximity to the top-end MG Hector, which is the latest entrant in the 5-seater SUV segment in India. The Hector Sharp diesel is priced at Rs. 16.88 lakh. The Tata Harrier SUV dual-tone colours are being offered only on the top-spec XZ trim. The new colour scheme costs close to Rs. 20,000 more than the corresponding mono-tone version. The dual-tone scheme gets blacked out roof and pillars and is available with two primary body colours – Calisto Copper (Orange) and Orcus White. It is important to note that the Harrier will continue to sell in the existing mono-tone colours as well. These include Calisto Copper, Ariel Silver, Thermisto Gold, Telesto Grey and Orcus White.

It is worth noting that all of the Harrier’s chief competitors, including the Hyundai Creta and Jeep Compass already come with dual-tone colour options. Moreover, Tata itself provides dual-tone colours on other models in its lineup, like the Tiago, Tigor JTP, Nexon and Hexa.

For people who want their vehicle to stand out, these new Tata Harrier dual-tone colours will surely be worth considering. Tata Motors’ decision to launch new dual-tone colours of the Harrier might be a response to the recent launch of the MG Hector. It is important to note that, thanks to its aggressive price tag, the MG Hector SUV is a direct competitor to the Harrier.
