Tata Motors has launched a special edition model of the Tiago hatchback. The Tata Tiago Wizz edition is based on the top-end XZ trim level and is available with both petrol and diesel engines. The Tiago Wizz petrol is priced at Rs. 4.52 lakh, while the diesel variant costs Rs. 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The special edition Tiago comes gets multiple cosmetic tweaks on the outside. These include blacked-out roof, B-pillars and ORVMs, roof rails, red accents on the front grille, dual tone wheel covers with red accents and a roof-mounted spoiler. Meannwhile, interiors of the Tata Tiago Wizz edition come with a new fabric seat upholstery and sporty red inserts around the centre console and AC vents.

Features on offer with the special edition Tata Tiago Wizz variants will be similar to what is seen on the XZ trim of the regular models. As a result, it will come with all four power windows, remote central locking, 2-DIN Harman infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity and rear parking sensors. However, the Tiago Wizz edition doesn’t get ABS, EBD, dual airbags and alloy wheels, which are offered with the regular Tiago XZ.

The Tata Tiago Wizz is based on the regular model’s XZ variant. However, it misses on some important features, as mentioned earlier. As a result, prices of the Tiago Wizz edition are extremely competitive and enticing. Tata Tiago Wizz specifications
No mechanical changes have been made to the 2017 Tata Tiago Wizz special edition. As a result, it continues to be available with two engine options. The petrol is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder unit rated at 83 bhp and 114 Nm, while the diesel gets a 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder turbo engine with 69 bhp and 140 Nm of torque on tap. Both these engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The AMT unit on offer with the regular Tiago isn’t available with the special Wizz edition.

Tata Tiago Wizz
The Tata Tiago Wizz adds some aggressive yet tasteful elements to the regular model. While special edition models some manufacturers look garish, the Tiago Wizz manages to hold on to the car’s understated and cute looks. However, new additions like blacked out roof and dual tone alloy wheels enhance the overall character and road presence of the car. Features on offer remain the same as the XZ variant, though ABS, airbags and EBD have sadly been removed from the special edition.
