Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has officially kicked off the 'Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota' in Guwahati on March 9th, 2024. TKM initiated the 4X4 experiential drives in May 2023, hosting them in four regional zones (North, South, East, and West), which garnered significant popularity among the 4X4 community nationwide. These drives were designed to provide enthusiasts with delightful off-road experiences and foster a sense of camaraderie within the 4X4 SUV community.

Participants of the 'Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota' will engage in various activities aimed at enhancing their outdoor lifestyle experience. The expedition features a convoy of remarkable 4-wheel drive SUVs, including the iconic Hilux, the legendary LC300, the popular Fortuner, and the Hyryder AWD (All Wheel Drive). Owners of SUVs from other brands are also welcome, fostering a spirit of adventurous 4X4 driving.

The expedition, which began on March 9th, will lead participants through trail drives in the PRP Valley of Guwahati. Along the route, participants will encounter natural obstacles such as articulation, side inclines, rambler, deep ditches, slush, and rocky beds, showcasing the remarkable capabilities of the 4X4 vehicles. TKM has prioritized customer safety and security, ensuring necessary safety measures are in place and providing expert guidance throughout the experiential drive.

As part of Toyota's commitment to sustainability, the event includes an environment preservation initiative. Every participant will actively contribute to virtual tree plantation, with Sankalp Taru responsible for planting and maintaining the saplings on their behalf. Participants can track the growth of their plant by scanning the QR code provided to them.

A participant shared their excitement, expressing gratitude to Toyota for the opportunity to be part of the expedition. They look forward to adventurous drives and engaging in outdoor recreational activities with their family and fellow 4X4 enthusiasts, creating lasting memories along the way.
