Bajaj Auto has silently launched the 2017 Pulsar 200 NS in India at a price of Rs. 96,443. The Pulsar NS has been an important product for the Indian bike manufacturer, however, it had to be discontinued in 2015 in order to make room for the AS 200. Since the AS series of bikes didn’t do well for Bajaj, and the 200cc segment kept on growing with competitors like the KTM Duke, TVS Apache and the recently launched Yamaha FZ25, Bajaj finally decided to bring back the Pulsar 200 NS to India in order to compete against the said rivals.
Here are a few details about the recently launched, slightly tweaked new Pulsar 200 Naked Sport.

Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS Design
For the 2017 model, the Pulsar 200NS borrows all major design cues from the previous model. As a result, it gets a chiselled fuel tank, a naked, single-piece headlight, conventional forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The tail end is still minimalist and is characterised by a rather ugly looking tyre hugger and the trademark Pulsar taillights.
2017 Pulsar 200 NS Colours
Since the bike gets the same design and structure, Bajaj had to do something to make the design look fresh. In order to do so, the Pulsar 200 NS is now being offered in three new dual-tone colour schemes:
- Red-Grey
- Blue-Grey
- White-Grey
The favourite yellow shade of the previous model have been discontinued.
