Tata Motors has officially started accepting bookings for its upcoming flagship SUV – the Tata Harrier. Interested customers can book the Harrier at any authorized Tata Motors dealership in the country by paying a token amount of Rs. 30,000. It is important to note that bookings of the Tata Harrier can be cancelled without any charges. Interested customers can even file their Tata Harrier bookings on the company’s official website.

The Harrier is expected to be launched sometime in November this year. It will be positioned above the Hexa, and will thus become Tata’s flagship product in the Indian market. Not much is known yet about the upcoming SUV, but it is expected to be heavily inspired from the H5X concept that was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Ahead of its official India launch, the Tata Harrier has been leaked on the Internet through the popular automotive forum – Team-BHP. The image appears to be clicked inside a crash test facility. It shows the Harrier’s rear three quarter profile, which further confirms the design to be quite similar to the H5X concept. In the image, the Tata Harrier has a rising shoulder line, a black c-pillar insert, 5-spoke alloy wheels, and slim tail light clusters.
The Tata Harrier SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four cylinder diesel engine. Interestingly, it is the same engine that powers the Jeep Compass. Under the Harrier, it will likely develop 140 PS of power. It will be available with manual as well as automatic transmission options.
